A non-freeze roof hydrant assembly penetrates the roof deck. The vertical riser consists of a 1-inch galvanized pipe with a flow lock wheel at the top and a 3/4-inch hose connection equipped with an atmospheric vacuum breaker. Below the roof line, the riser connects to a valve body and a water supply line. A ball valve and water hammer arrester are installed at the base of the supply piping.
