An adjustable floor drain strainer sits flush with the finished floor over a rough floor slab. A waterproofing membrane is installed where required beneath the finish. The drain body connects to a waste pipe fitted with a P-trap, and a half-inch primer connection is provided. Grout fills the surrounding void, and fire-stopping sealant is applied at the penetration for rated assemblies.
