An underground sanitary sewer cleanout assembly is installed in unpaved areas terminating at finished grade inside a pre-cast concrete box equipped with a cast iron frame and cover. The main underground sewer pipe connects to a PVC wye fitting, transitioning to a cast iron riser pipe. A PVC one-eighth bend leads to a clean-out ferrule fitted with a raised brass cap just below grade. The pipe continues or is plugged as indicated on the plan, with material specifications governed by the project piping schedule.
