An aluminum downspout nozzle connects to the secondary roof drain line, with the exact sizing determined per plan. An aluminum birdscreen is slip-fitted directly into the downspout nozzle opening to prevent debris and pests from entering the drainage system. The entire perimeter of the nozzle connection is sealed with caulk applied all around to ensure a watertight installation.
