The gas supply line transitions through a manual shut-off valve and a gas pressure regulator stepped down from 2 PSI to 4 ounces, followed by a vertical drip leg with a minimum six-inch vertical drop and a capped end. A horizontal run requires a minimum length of ten pipe diameters before reaching a flexible gas connector limited to eighteen inches maximum length. A ground joint union connects the flexible line directly to the equipment connection.
