An insulated pipe is supported by a clevis hanger assembly suspended from a threaded rod secured with hexagonal nuts. The pipe is enclosed within pipe insulation and surrounded by a protective shield. Specification section 22 0529 governs insulated pipe supports, insulation protection shields, and saddles.
