An outdoor gas pressure regulator connects to a rooftop air conditioning unit via a full-sized gas line passing through a rubber grommet at the unit housing. The assembly incorporates a gas pressure regulator with a vent tube connector and quarter-inch tubing, a full-sized capped inspection tee, and a dirt leg with a full-sized capped tee. A gas cock is installed on the supply line, which is elevated above the roof line using a roof pipe support spaced at a minimum of ten times the pipe diameter.
