A freeze-proof hydrant with drain penetrates the roof assembly, passing through the roofing membrane, cover board, and rigid insulation. A pipe flashing boot surrounds the hydrant barrel and is secured at the top with a clamping ring and sealant applied per manufacturer instructions. Below the roof deck, under-deck flanges clamp the assembly using mounting bolts and flange screws, anchoring the hydrant and connecting to a one-inch cold water supply line. A pipe sleeve support is positioned within eighteen inches of the pipe joint to provide structural stability.
