Plumbing pipes greater than one and one-quarter inches in diameter attach to the building structure. The pipe passes through a Trisolator pipe sleeve, using Series 100 for steel pipe or Series 500 for copper. A structural clamp fastens to the structure typically. The pipe must be kept clear of the structure, other pipes, and other trades.
