A floor sink receptor receives discharge from an overhead drain pipe. A minimum one-inch air gap is maintained between the bottom of the drain pipe and the top of the floor sink grate to prevent backflow and cross-contamination. The floor sink features a threaded adjustable collar for height alignment within the floor assembly.
