A half-inch cold water supply line feeds a trap primer device positioned a minimum of twelve inches above the finished floor level. An isolation gate valve is installed on the main line for trap primer servicing, with support provided vertically as required. The trap primer connects to a floor drain featuring a deep seal floor trap. The system is designated for domestic water systems only.
