A twenty-four by twenty-four inch hot dip galvanized pour frame is embedded directly into the concrete pump discharge pit and secured with three-eighths by four-inch long J-anchor bolts spaced at a maximum of eight inches on center with a minimum of three inches per side for a square sump. A one-quarter inch fillet weld connects the frame elements. A nineteen-W-four steel bar grating featuring one-eighth inch bars rests within the frame opening.
