A concrete sump pit features minimum clear inside dimensions of twenty-four by twenty-four by thirty inches, with six-inch thick walls on all four sides anchored using epoxy dowels. Interior surfaces are lined with a Dex-O-Tex M-E flooring waterproofing seal and a Dex-O-Tex vapor control 200 coating, backed by an exterior waterproof membrane. A dewatering pump is positioned inside the pit with a pump switch, plugging into an electrical receptacle above, and a cut grate opening accommodates the discharge pipe.
