This domestic hot water return piping assembly incorporates two ball valves isolating an automatic flow control valve with an integral strainer and pressure/temperature ports. A union is installed downstream of the control valve for maintenance access, and a half-inch drain valve is provided on the upstream leg. The automatic flow control valve is a Griswold K valve with a no-lead body, a one to fourteen psi differential pressure spring, and a zero-point-three-three gallon per minute cartridge.
