A sewage ejector basin is recessed below the top of the slab with a gas and water-tight access hatch and frame at the surface. The basin contains dual sewage ejector pumps mounted above a concrete base with typical guide bar brackets and terminal valves. Discharge piping routes a 3-inch pumped waste line with spring check valves alongside a 2-inch vent line. A 4-inch waste inlet connects to the basin at a variable invert elevation determined on site. Float controls within the basin are set at specific heights including 12 inches for both pumps off, 38 inches for lead pump on, 54 inches for both pumps on, and 60 inches for high water alarm within the 96-inch deep basin. A remote wall-mounted control panel connects via Division 26 for power wiring and Division 22 for control wiring.
