Pipes penetrate a continuous concrete footing through rigid pipe sleeves installed with a maximum diameter of 0.25 times the footing depth. Two stirrups are placed on each side at 3 inches center-to-center spacing, matching the footing reinforcing and running parallel to the sleeves. Compressible filler surrounds the pipe penetrations, and the bottom of the footing elevation and footing height are sized per plan with a minimum 6-inch clearance.
