An in-line circulating pump is installed in the domestic water piping with a gate or ball valve and a check valve on the discharge side for flow control. Unions are placed adjacent to the pump and valves to facilitate maintenance and removal. A dial type pressure gauge ranging from zero to one hundred PSIG with a gauge cock is connected via a reducing tee on both the suction and discharge sides of the pump. An aquastat is installed on the piping for automated control of the pump operation.
