A reduced pressure backflow preventer is installed above a finished floor with a vertical height of four feet to the centerline. The assembly includes isolating ball valves and unions on both sides for maintenance, alongside a Y-strainer on the supply line. A Watts 900-AG-F series air gap fitting connects the relief valve to a two-inch P-trap and waste line. Vertical piping is secured with typical pipe wall supports and routes to connections shown on plans.
