A corrosion-resistant drain pan conforming to CMC 310.2 sits beneath the fan coil unit. The condensate line exits the unit through a union fitting, followed by a condensate trap requiring a 3-inch trap seal or 1 inch plus fan static pressure, whichever is greater. A vent riser extends at least 1 inch above the top of the drain. The condensate drain line continues to route per mechanical plans.
