The condensate drain line connects to the air handling unit drain pan via a union and is sized at least the same as the nipple on the drain pan. The piping consists of type L copper tubing joined with wrought copper fittings and includes a threaded brass cleanout plug at the top of the vertical drop. Condensate pipe height "H" must equal fan inlet pressure in inches of water column plus one inch, with a minimum height of six inches. For continuation of piping, see the plumbing plans.
