This roof drain assembly consists of a cast iron sump receiver and an aluminum dome labeled RD-1, mounted within a deck plate supported by structural curbs as detailed per architectural drawings. The drain body connects to the drainage piping below the roof deck using a heavy-duty no-hub coupling and an expansion coupling. Insulation with a vapor barrier surrounds the drop pipe assembly beneath the roof deck.
