A steel plate measuring one quarter inch by twenty and one half inches is welded across the flanges of a C12X20.7 channel beam. The connection is secured with three sixteenth inch fillet welds on typical sides as indicated by the weld symbols. Two C12X20.7 channel shapes form the structural framing.
