A vertical pipe passes through a core drilled opening in an existing concrete floor slab sized to provide a one-quarter inch annular space. An Anvil Figure 261 riser clamp supports the pipe directly above the slab. A caulk seal is applied where insulation does not occur, and fire-stopping is installed at all rated floors. Post-tension decks require X-ray scanning prior to core drilling.
