An underground pipe penetrates a concrete wall through a schedule forty pipe sleeve equipped with a center-set waterstop collar. A waterproof link-seal assembly featuring an elastomeric seal element sized as required fills the annular space between the pipe and sleeve. All below-grade steel components including bolts and pipe fittings are wrapped with wax tape conforming to AWWA C217 standards.
