The unpaved area cleanout assembly connects to an underground cast iron sewer pipe utilizing a cast iron wye fitting and an 1/8 bend leading up to a cleanout ferrule with a raised brass cap set flush with the finished grade inside a pre-cast concrete box with a cast iron frame and cover. The paved area detail features a similar cast iron piping configuration extending up through a minimum four-inch concrete pad and finished paving, terminating in a cleanout ferrule with a countersunk brass cap centered within a two-foot square concrete pad. Both configurations utilize bell and spigot joint connections and include plugged or continuing piping runs as specified on the plan.
