A three-inch perforated PVC pipe runs approximately the length of the gravel bed beneath the sculpture base at a two percent slope. The pipe transitions from perforated to continuous PVC before passing a three-inch settlement joint designed to accommodate four inches of building settlement. The pipe continues underneath the curb to connect to the civil storm drain point of connection at West Grand Avenue, with a cleanout and PVC cap provided at the terminal end.
