A vertical pipe penetrates a poured-in-place concrete floor slab through a pipe sleeve secured with a minimum of three cast-in-place anchor bolts. The annular space between the pipe and sleeve is sealed with backing material and sealant, with vapor barrier applied where pipe insulation is present. An optional riser clamp supports uninsulated piping above the floor assembly. Firestopping systems of sealant, backing material, and insulation are applied at fire-rated floor assemblies per project specifications.
