A sanitary sewer pipe terminates with a knockout type plug at the end of the line, connecting upward through a long radius one-eighth bend to a surface cleanout. The cleanout rises to meet finished grade, surrounded by a two-foot by two-foot by four-inch concrete pad installed in paved areas only.
