An electric trap priming unit receives a three-quarter-inch cold water supply in the wall and connects to a shut-off valve, a solenoid valve, and an atmospheric vacuum breaker. A water hammer arrestor is installed inline to absorb pressure shocks, feeding into a three-quarter-inch manifold with multiple half-inch typical outlets. Sleeves are provided where the outgoing pipes pass into the slab. A one hundred twenty-volt electrical connection is supplied by the electrical trade to power the unit.
