A two-inch drain line from the fire sprinkler system terminates at an air gap funnel positioned thirty inches above the finished floor, discharging into a six-inch cast iron soil pipe secured with typical pipe straps. The assembly incorporates a four-inch P-trap with a trap primer connection and a one-half-inch primer tap. A sanitary tee, four-inch wye, clean-out, and reducer connect the drainage to a four-inch cast iron vertical stack extending downward through the finished floor with caulking all around. Below the floor, a four-inch long sweep cast iron bend connects to the horizontal run using no-hub couplings with six-band stainless steel clamps and shields. A two-inch relief vent runs vertically up along the wall from the drainage stack.
