A sand oil interceptor vault is set on a gravel leveling bed within a concrete pit with dimensions of seven feet by eleven feet. The vault includes an inspection plug, an SOI-1 sand oil interceptor unit, and a butterfly valve designated as BFV-1. Access to the vault is provided through twenty-four-inch gas-tight cast iron frames and covers with adjustable six-inch grade rings as required. Piping connections feature typical Link-Seals at the vault wall penetrations, with a six-inch exterior drainage system pipe and four-inch sanitary sewer on the inlet side, and a six-inch sanitary sewer underground pipe with a four-inch vent on the outlet side at a slope of one-eighth inch per foot.
