A three-quarter-inch size hose bibb and matching size stop valve are installed within an eight-inch recessed cabinet box mounted in a finished wall. The nine-and-a-half-inch square box requires a watertight seal between the bibb, box, stop, and box. Quarter-inch screws at three inches on center are secured on all four sides of the flange. Double blocking is installed typically behind the wall assembly.
