A vertical downspout runs against the exterior wall and transitions through a short sweep elbow connected via a hubless pipe connector to a threaded adapter penetrating the wall. A riser clamp securely braces the downspout to the wall within twelve inches of the base, while a pipe stand supports the elbow above the finished floor. The exterior wall penetration requires a sleeve and seal installed per specifications. A downspout nozzle discharges stormwater at least eighteen inches above finished grade or pavement onto a splash block.
