A Telestrut channel brace anchors to the underside of a concrete slab on metal deck. The assembly attaches using two five-eighths inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 anchors with a three and one-quarter inch effective embedment. A P1000 and P5500 channel profile secure against the slab soffit with a minimum four-inch typical spacing. A one-half inch diameter hex head cap screw and channel nut fasten the bracing member to the channel assembly.
