Insulated water piping is supported by a unistrut assembly suspended from a concrete floor slab by hanger rods anchored with expansion nuts. Butt insulation is placed against the clamp assembly, and piping is secured to the supports with pipe clamps while notching the insulation at the clamp locations. This detail applies to two or more parallel running pipes.
