Hot and cold water supply piping connects to a clothes washer or extractor through a three-quarter-inch lead-free Nibco Model T-585-70-HC shut-off valve, a Watts Model 05H-M1 water hammer arrestor, and a Watts Model Cwm-S-Hh-72 water hose with a stainless steel escutcheon. A three-inch PVC Schedule 40 drain pipe discharges from the unit into a Jay R. Smith Sq-Td-0884 trough drain set into the finished concrete slab, maintaining a one-inch minimum air gap. The trough drain routes to the sewer system through piping sized per the plans.
