An emergency eye wash unit is mounted with its base enclosure aligned to the inside wall of the sink, receiving tempered water via a one-half inch tepid water line routed from the wall. A thermostatic mixing valve, set at eighty-five degrees Fahrenheit, is housed in a recessed cabinet with its top aligned to the bottom of the sink. Supply piping includes one-half inch hot water and cold water lines feeding the tempering valve from dual outlet stops.
