A Unistrut P3010 channel connects to a P1000 track spanning a minimum of three flutes of a metal deck. The assembly is secured using three 1/2-inch diameter Dewalt Power-Plus SD threaded studs with a 3-1/4 inch effective embedment. A 5/8-inch thick by 3-inch wide and 6-inch long steel plate is fastened with a 3/4-inch typical spacing. The detail provides secure anchorage for recess panels against overhead deck structures.
