Two three-inch fuel oil vent pipes are secured to a concrete column using pipe clamps fastened to a strut support assembly. The strut assembly is anchored to the concrete column using three-eighth-inch Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ expansion anchors with two-and-a-half-inch embedment and washers. Pipe clamps are attached to the framing using three-eighth-inch bolts with washers and nuts. Notes specify that the detail is for reference only and the contractor must determine proper support installation per the California Plumbing Code and field conditions.
