A vent stack penetrates the roof construction as required, extending a minimum of eighteen inches above the finished roof surface. A single-ply roof jack is furnished and installed by the roofing contractor and sealed watertight to the vent stack. Membrane roofing material surrounds the penetration, and an increaser is provided on the stack piping below the roof line.
