A thirty-six-inch round manhole features a thirty-six-inch diameter fiber-reinforced composite aramid cover with a twelve-inch skirt, bolted in place using a Franklin Model 780-492-BD configuration. The interior utilizes a thirty-inch diameter fiberglass inner lid secured by four bolts, connected via a riser-to-lid adapter with an O-ring using an OSI Model FL-30G-4B and RLA30 setup. A thirty-inch diameter PVC riser is epoxy-set to the access opening, with all riser penetrations sealed using grommets such as the OSI Model RR30. Surface preparation requires a white metal blast cleaning conforming to SSPC-SP5/NACE1 to remove all visible rust, mill scale, and foreign matter. The internal coating system consists of an amine-cured epoxy mortar, an overlay with Tnemec 218 MortarClad, an epoxy mortar layer of 125 mils using Tnemec 434 Perma-Shield, and a finish coat of 15 to 20 mils using Tnemec 435 Perma-Glaze.
