A duplex sewage ejector basin installs below the Level B1 slab with a top discharge configuration. The basin features submersible pumps with guide bar brackets, a terminal valve at the 4-inch gravity waste inlet set 3 feet below the slab, and a separate vent routed through the roof. Discharge piping includes spring check valves and shut-off valves connecting to the pumped waste line. Electrical wiring to the remote wall-mounted control panel is provided by Division 26. Float switch settings are dimensioned at 13 inches for both pumps off, 24 inches for lead pump on, 34 inches for both pumps on, and 40 inches for the high water alarm.
