A pipe freeze protection heat trace installation features a heat tracing controller linked to a wall-mounted outside air temperature sensor. Power is supplied at either 208 volts or 277 volts single phase per the electrical drawings, connecting through a power connection kit on the piping run. The heat trace cable is secured along the pipe using typical fiberglass cloth adhesive tape beneath pipe insulation. Each circuit is terminated with an approved end seal.
