This parallel pressure reducing valve station utilizes two automatic control valves, a two-and-a-half-inch valve rated for eighty gallons per minute at sixty pounds per square inch, and a one-and-a-half-inch valve rated for twenty gallons per minute at fifty-seven pounds per square inch. Each branch includes an upstream shutoff valve, a strainer, and a downstream pressure gauge with a capped drain connection. A three-inch bypass line is provided to allow for maintenance or emergency flow without interrupting service. The system is fed by a three-inch main and discharges into a common header.
