An electronic trap primer assembly connects to a cold water supply tapped from the top, running through a ball valve and a PPP MP-500 electronic trap primer housed within a metal cabinet. The cabinet is recessed within framed walls or surface mounted on concrete or block walls, with an adjacent 115V controller positioned a minimum of 12 inches above the finished floor. Piping drops down to a PPP one-inch air gap funnel and transitions to one-half-inch Type L soft copper with no joints for below grade runs. All copper piping installed in concrete slabs is wrapped with corrosion protection tape. The horizontal line extends with a maximum twenty-foot run, sloping toward the p-trap connection at the floor drain or sink.
