The vertical water pressure tank weighs 880 pounds and is secured with Holdrite Quick Strap QS-50 water heater seismic restraints located at one-third and two-thirds height intervals. Each strap is anchored to four-times blocking or wall framing using quarter-inch lag bolts with a two-and-a-half-inch minimum embedment, pre-drilled to avoid splitting with four bolts per strap. The cold water inlet line includes a ball shut-off valve, a pressure gauge, a pressure relief valve with a three-quarter-inch line routed to a floor sink, and a hose bibb with a cap outlet. Four-times blocking is installed at the top and bottom of the tank attachment zones.
