A gas pressure regulator is installed on a rooftop above the roof line and supported by a roof pipe support. The main supply line includes a gas cock, a dirt leg with a full size capped tee, and a vent tube connector fitted with one-quarter-inch tubing. A full size capped inspection tee is located downstream of the regulator, maintaining a minimum clearance of ten times the pipe diameter before connecting to the rooftop air conditioning unit through a rubber grommet.
