A plumbing vent stack penetrates through the roof construction as required, sealed watertight with a single-ply roof jack furnished and installed by the roofing contractor. The membrane roofing material ties into the assembly around the vent penetration. An increaser is installed on the stack below the roof level when required, maintaining a minimum 18-inch clearance above the finished roof surface.
