A plumbing vent stack penetrates through roof construction and a membrane roofing material, maintaining a minimum height of twelve inches above the roof surface. A single-ply roof jack is installed by the roofing contractor and sealed watertight to the vent stack. An increaser is included on the piping below the roof when required, and the roof construction incorporates a sleeve as needed.
