An in-line circulating pump is installed in the piping run with typical unions and test plugs on both sides for isolation and maintenance. An aquastat controls the pump operation, and a strainer is included upstream to protect the impeller. An automatic air release valve is mounted on a twelve-inch minimum riser to vent trapped air from the system. The entire pump assembly spans a maximum length of four feet between isolation points.
